Lovely to have this place in little Baddow! The food is always nice and filling (sometimes definitely a little over eager with the olive oil, even by Italian standards), but delicious nevertheless! Only problem is that some carpets or some way to tone down the acoustics might be a good thing to consider for the future, because it can get loud. Even so, we love coming here and will always come back over and over!
Saw Frankly Burgers on Instagram so had to visit! Wow their burgers are sooo good looking and they taste awesome too! Fries are delicious as well and brilliant seasoning. The lovely waitress recommended the tonkatsu chicken wings so we got a large portion to share - they were so crunchy on the outside, moist inside and the sauce! delish!!! - will definitely be trying the tonkatsu chicken burger next time! We look forward to visiting again.
Fantastic food, nice surroundings and decor
Olio has a nice location here a bit off the beaten track. Olio offer excellent service and even better food. The only negative is the over loud background music, which forces up the chatter volume across the restaurant.
My daughter took me here for Father's Day and what a lovely time was had by all. The service was absolutely fantastic and attentive. Food was scrumptious even though the place was heaving. Parking was a bit of a nightmare, it being Father's day but did not affect the overall experience. Lovely garden too
Stumbled across this hidden gem whilst out with my mum Saturday. Old traditional pub but now part Italian restaurant. We were even greeted on arrival ! Lovely decor inside, beautiful food and extremely pleasant and attentive waiters. Thank you for a wonderful lunch. We will be back!
We came here as a family for Fathers Day, and it was absolutely superb. Service is fantastic - we were constantly checked on and all food arrived very quickly. The food itself was delicious. Pictured is the calamari starter, the skate wing, the beef roast, and the mini chocolate souffle. Every single person enjoyed their food, and the set up is lovely. Would 100% recommend.
